More of a forum suggestion

Can we bring back the playlist? I really liked it. But can we include more than just anime openings please? I would very much prefer if we had stuff from every genre of music opposed to J-Rock and anime openings.

Kyle has a whole list of songs from our last playlist. We had almost every genre o.o
Once he has the time, he'll update the forums to include it. If you have a song you want added to the playlist, pm him with a list.

Honestly, I may just make the music player visible on the Dueling Network portal, as there isn't really much of a need for one, especially whenever you are navigating the forum on a bad-decent computer, it lags and causes some problems with the positioning of chat boxes.

But sure, if it gets enough attention, then I'll be sure to add it, but currently I need to work on adding a chat box and some other features that will make the forum more appealing.

But thanks for your suggestion. Topic will remain unlocked until the 10th of June, if a lot of people want the music player by then, I will add it.

Well. The thing is Destiny, the playlist we had, 95% of it was anime openings. The other 5 percent was linkin park and Breaking Benjamin or something. I really didn't see any variety in the types of music. For example, there wasn't any pop punk, metal/metalcore, hip hop, EDM, etc.

That's a bit of an exaggeration Kirito. There were quite a few bands and the songs together was more than 5 percent. Not to mention the 2 bands you just mentioned has like 5-6 genres between them alone. The Fairy Tail openings/endings were J-Pop/Rock with a mix of other genres. It might not have your everyday radio music that's played 24/7 but the playlist wasn't exactly up for long and people did pitch in ideas for music when Happy last asked.

Again, if you have songs from any band you want added to the new playlist for this forum, pm Kyle or make a thread. The longer the list the better. Just don't put lullubies. I don't want the playlist to put me to sleep.

The reason why it had them songs wasn't because of me, I asked for suggestions to be added to the song list, which to most people answered Linkin Park. I'm not going to add in songs, or genres, that one person likes, that was would be pointless.

Furthermore, the playlist was taken down for a reason, most of them included: "I'm lagging really badly on the forum!"

What would you rather have:

1: A forum that continuously lags?
Or..
2: A forum that does not lag that much.

More people need to like the idea. If its just you, then a music playlist will not be added.

cons:
  a) you have lag (depends on your machine)
  b) playlist is limited
  c) out of the limited list,there is bound to be some **** music in there.. so it would make it annoying in short time...

2. media player pros and cons:

pros:
  a) you have music
  b) no lag
  c) no limit
  d) you have your own **** that you like to listen.. not someone elses

cons:
  a) depends on your taste for music...
